2016 Austin Film Festival


Yesterday the Austin Film Festival announced its full schedule and marquee features. Included in those marquee features is the highly anticipated “La La Land “(Staring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone) as well as “Trespass Against Us” (Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson). Other marquee titles include “Wakefield” staring Bryan Cranston and Jennifer Garner with writer and director Robin Swicord in attendance and animated feature “Nerdland” staring Paul Rudd and Patton Oswalt with screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en) in attendance.
Also Producer Frank Marshall will join director Ryan Suffern for a screening of the documentary “Finding Oscar” which is about the search for two children who offer evidence that ties the Guatemalan government with the Dos Erres Massacare. Also making their World Premiere at the festival is “One Night” (with Anna Camp and writer/director Minhal Baig in attendance), “The Writer’s Burrow” (with the lead actor and director in attendance), “The Big Flip- Stories from the Modern Household” (a documentary that explores families with reversed gender roles), and “Hot Air (an Austin –based comedy.)
